It has only been a few weeks, but COVID-19 has drastically changed the way we live and work. For many of us, the majority of our lives take place outside of the home. At almost every stage of life, it seems that home serves only as a place for eating, sleeping and bathing. That’s it. It’s not so much a home as it is a home base: a place to go for the basic necessities and not much else.

In the not-so-distant past, we spent so much time telling each other how busy we were, how every weekend was packed with things to do and oh, what we’d give to have just one day to do absolutely nothing. Now, all of the sudden, we are faced with what seems like an eternity of time at home to work, to play and to relax. But, when our homes are out of sync with our lifestyle, interests and values, it can be hard to truly cherish this time and see the silver lining in it all.

This is the time to reclaim our home. It is time to do the projects and tasks we’ve been putting off. It is time to create a space that reflects us as individuals and as families, so that we can truly find JOY at home.

Over the next couple of weeks, it is our aim to provide content, ideas and tips on how to get there. Join us on the journey. We will be decluttering, organizing, creating, re-purposing all in the pursuit of creating truly enjoyable spaces.
